The Parish Emergency Kit

When tragedy occurs, whether it be violence or natural disaster, the local parish is often a place people turn for help and healing. This booklet helps parish leaders respond to such a tragedy through Mass, prayer services, being a place of gathering, hospitality and welcome, community outreach. It offers assistance in assessing the parish’s ability to provide pastoral care and healing in the short and long term at various ages and stages (children, teens, adults, elderly).
